The Mind Adventures Theatre Company (founded in 1999) is an experimental English theatre company based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. They live by a mantra of sex, drugs and rock n’ roll and strive to make theatrically inventive, politically conscious theatre in the tropical heat of Sri Lanka – where corruption rules and the mangoes are to die for.
Additionally, they also run theatre workshops for kids from low-income households from urban Colombo, and a theatre-sports competition, Act Before You Think – where they charge audience members to laugh at teams of amateurs attempting to accomplish theatre-challenges set by the Company. We know – that’s unfair.
